The Panorama City campus of Kaplan College is located at the
intersection of Lennox Avenue and Roscoe Boulevard.
Occupying 23,500 square feet designed specifically for teaching
educational programs offered by the College, the facility can
accommodate up to 400 students. As a student, you can enjoy spacious
air-conditioned classrooms, a student lounge, a computer lab, and a
resource library.
Equipment
At Kaplan College, we focus on preparing you for real on-the-job
experiences. We offer hands-on instruction and use a variety of medical,
technical, and computer equipment in each specialized program. You will
have the opportunity to develop a practical, working knowledge of the
equipment and materials you are likely to encounter on the job.
The medical assistant program provides training with examination
equipment including:
- EKG machines
- Human skeleton anatomical charts and models
- Computers
- Sterilizers
- Surgical instruments
- Audiometers
- Centrifuge equipment
- Infant/adult scales
- Blood-drawing apparatus
- CPR mannequins
- Microscopes
- Blood and urine diagnostic testing machine
Library
Students can access the College reference library containing
reference books, supplementary textbooks, and a wide variety of current
periodicals relevant to each program offered. In addition, students in
the paralegal program have an up-to-date legal library complete with use
of Westlaw® online for legal research. The library is open to students
during normal College office hours.
